New (and some old) Items of Interest

In October, 2010 the board decided to eliminate the Community Outreach (community service) committee and the tracking of community service activities. This was done because we have so many other duties that need attention and we have been short on volunteers. Note that the community service projects are NOT cancelled, only the tracking of them by the club. The earlier version of this message was unintentionally misleading (did not include the clarification about the actual projects not being canceled) and an apology is given. [revised: 2011/01/31].
